Shaking up the week after Rock In Rio 2019

After the 2019 edition of #RockInRio (8th edition held in Brazil and 20th edition held worldwide since its inception in 1985) we are left with a taste of wanting more for several reasons.

Over time, it is undeniable the proportion that RiR has taken and the importance of having in the curriculum the participation in the festival. It all started in the music festival format and today it is much more than that.

In 2019, during two weekends, the Olympic Park in the Marvelous City (Rio de Janeiro) was transformed into a gigantic scenographic city full of art, freedom of expression, and could count on the presence of brands that manifested their positioning before the world.

Rock In Rio is a plate full of content and reference of marketing and branding strategies, which is great for repertoire building.

It is the kind of place where brands can exist in their purest form and share.

Share everything and manifest.

To manifest for their desires and understand how they can impact the world.

And it is in the nostalgic rhythm that we created a list with 10 songs (wonderful, by the way) of some of the attractions that brightened up the various stages spread throughout the City of Rock.

Put on your headphones, scroll up and press play!

1 – “Perfect” – Pink (@pink)
“Pink, Pink… And that flight, huh? That’s how you kill us, angel.”

2 – “eXplosion” – The Black Eyed Peas (@bep) ft. Anitta (@anitta)
“Just feel that explosion. Anira made her honorable debut on the World Stage at RiR and took funk to another level. (We didn’t participate in the after, but that’s okay, migx)”

3 – “Thunder” – Imagine Dragons (@imaginedragons)
“Dan gave a voice to people suffering quietly with their ghosts. A cry for help through music. awareness is everything and then some.”

4 – “Otherside” – Red Hot Chili Peppers (@chilipeppers)
“A trip back in time to remember the garage bands formed with school and home street friends.”

5 – “Cheguei” – Ludmilla (@ludmilla)
“Who said orchestra can’t play funk? Art is expression, it’s mixing!”

6 – “Brisa” – Iza (@iza)
“An endless pause for Iza who expressed herself in a coherent way, took our eternal ‘Marrom’ to the stage and didn’t let samba die.”

7 – “Toda forma de amor”, “Um certo alguém” and “O último romântico” – Lulu Santos (@lulusantosoficial)
“Lulu is pure poetry. Several tears watered the floor (literally) and hearts filled with love.”

8 – “Our love won” – Ivete Sangalo (@ivetesangalo) ft. Marília Mendonça (@mariliamendoncacantora)
“Veveta and the Sofrência’ Queen. Mainha likes it that way, right?”

9 – “Hear me now” – Alok (@alok), Bruno Martini (@brunomartinimusic) and Zeeba (@zeeba)
“Opening act of the Palco Mundo. Huum, what a responsibility huh, Aly?”

10 – “Misunderstood” – Bon Jovi (@bonjovi)
“I wonder if the girl that Bonys brought on stage has enrolled in English yet?”
